Federal Returning Officer comments on today's satirical article in the taz

Wiesbaden – As concerns the squib "Scandal before the Bundestag elections", which was published in the "tageszeitung" (taz) today, 17 February 2009, the Federal Returning Officer points out that he did not participate in any press conference yesterday. Accordingly, the statements attributed in the satirical article to the Federal Returning Officer, Roderich Egeler, are completely unfounded.
