Bundestag election: 3rd meeting of the Federal Electoral Committee on 14 October 2009

WIESBADEN – As announced by the Federal Returning Officer, Roderich Egeler, the third meeting of the Federal Electoral Committee regarding this year’s Bundestag election will take place in the German Bundestag building in Berlin, Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (entrance on Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße 1), room 3.101 (Anhörungssaal), on Wednesday, 14 October 2009 at 11.00 a.m.

In that meeting, the Federal Electoral Committee will determine the final result of the election to the 17th German Bundestag of 27 September 2009 according to Section 42 (2) of the Federal Elections Act in connection with Section 78 of the Federal Electoral Regulations.

Important notes:
The meeting of the Federal Electoral Committee will be held in public. Those interested in observing the meeting will, however, have to pass security checks before entering the Bundestag buildings and have to show their identity cards.
