
2009 European elections: Votes may still be cast by 6 p.m.!
WIESBADEN/BERLIN – Today, the 99 Members of the European Parliament from the Federal Republic of Germany are elected. In light of the particular importance the elections have for voters who want to exert an influence on the future political decisions in the EU, the Federal Returning Officer calls upon all citizens entitled to vote to exercise their right to vote and still cast their vote by 6.p.m. At that hour, the polling stations in Germany will be closed.
