Amendment of constituency (district) nominations

After the expiration of the submission period for nominations (sixty-sixth day before the election to the German Bundestag), a constituency nomination may be amended by sole means of a joint statement in writing by the agent and deputy agent and only if the candidate has died or has become ineligible to stand for election. Once a decision has been taken on the approval of a constituency nomination, any amendment is inadmissible.

There are no district nominations in European elections.
