The Federal Returning Officer has published separate issues of the series “Wahl zum 17. Deutschen Bundestag am 27. September 2009“ (Election to the 17 ^th German Bundestag on 27 September 2009) on the 2009 Bundestag election:

results of earlier elections to the Bundestag, the European Parliament and the Länder parliaments, comparative figures of earlier elections and structural data for the Bundestag constituencies,
preliminary and final results by constituencies,
results of representative electoral statistics (voter turnout of and votes cast by men and women by age),
textual evaluation of the election results.

In addition, electoral statistical analyses are published in the monthly magazine “Wirtschaft und Statistik” (Economy and Statistics).

Personal data of the individual candidates and summaries of the approved constituency and Land list nominations, candidates according to year of birth, sex and field of profession have been published in a special issue entitled “Die Wahlbewerber für die Wahl zum 17. Deutschen Bundestag“ (Candidates for the election to the 17th German Bundestag).

Additionally, the Federal Statistical has published separate issues on the election to the European Parliament containing:

results and comparative figures of earlier elections to the European Parliament, the German Bundestag and the Länder parliaments, and structural data for towns not attached to an administrative district and for rural districts,
preliminary and final results by urban districts and rural districts,
results of representative electoral statistics (voter turnout of and votes cast by men and women by age)
textual evaluation of the election results.
