A ballot paper template is an aid enabling blind and visually impaired voters to read with their
fingers what content of the ballot paper is essential for taking a decision and for casting the
vote on their own and secretly at the polling station or in the postal ballot.
To adjust the ballot paper template, all ballot papers have been punched in the upper right
corner. That makes it impossible to draw any conclusions as to the electoral behaviour of the
individual voter.
The ballot paper templates are provided upon request by the local associations of the blind,
without the voter having to be a member of such an association. The provision is free of
charge.
