People entitled to vote by Länder

WIESBADEN – Most of the people entitled to vote in the Bundestag election of 22 September 2013 live in Nordrhein-Westfalen (13.2 million), Bayern (9.3 million) and Baden-Württemberg (7.8 million). This is reported by the Federal Returning Officer on the basis of an estimate of those eligible to vote. The Länder with the smallest number of people entitled to vote are Bremen (0.5 million) and Saarland (0.8 million). On the whole, 61.8 million Germans are eligible to vote, as was announced earlier.
