2017 Bundestag Election: people entitled to vote by Länder

WIESBADEN – According to an estimate of the Federal Statistical Office, most of the people entitled to vote in the election to the 19th German Bundestag on 24 September 2017 live in Nordrhein-Westfalen (13.1 million), Bayern (9.5 million) and Baden-Württemberg (7.8 million). The Federal Returning Officer also reports that the Länder with the smallest number of people entitled to vote are Bremen (0.5 million) and Saarland (0.8 million). As has been reported earlier, the total number of Germans entitled to vote is 61.5 million.
