2017 Bundestag Election: results of polling districts available for download

The results of the 2017 Bundestag Election in a breakdown by polling district are for the first time available for free download on the Federal Returning Officer’s website. The Federal Returning Officer also reports that all data are provided in csv format so that they can be processed further in any database or spreadsheet program.

The files that can be downloaded include a file with first vote results of all the nearly 90,000 polling districts, a file with the relevant second vote results and another file (roughly 14,000 data records) with information on the municipality codes used (territory as at 31 July 2017).

The files constitute a joint publication of the returning officers of the Federation and the Länder. The polling district results are based on the figures provided by the Länder.
