Federal Electoral Committee has decided on appeals

WIESBADEN/BERLIN – At today’s meeting open to the public, the Federal Electoral Committee dealt with 12 appeals related with the European Election to be held on 25 May 2014.

As reported by the Federal Returning Officer, none of the appeals was successful. This means that a total of 25 parties and other political associations have been admitted to the European Election with lists for one Land and/or with joint lists for all Länder as had already been announced by press release of the Federal Returning Officer on 17 March 2014.
