The election to the 20th German Bundestag will be held on 26 September 2021. Upon the recommendation of the Federal Government, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier issued the order regarding the Bundestag election on 8 December 2020 (Federal Law Gazette I, p. 2769).
