Female candidates

A total of 3,446 Land list candidates ran in the Bundestag election of 2013. 1,027 of them were women, which is a share of roughly 29.8 %. Women accounted for 607 of the 2,705 constituency nominations, or approximately 22.4 %. In the end, 62 of the 299 constituency seats available went to women (about 20.7 %).
