Structural constituency data

The structural data for the constituencies of the 19th German Bundestag include data on the area and population, construction activity and housing, national accounts of the Länder, stock of motor vehicles, school leavers by type of termination, children’s day care, business register, employees subject to social insurance contributions, recipients of unemployment benefit and of social allowance and unemployment rates. The raw data for the structural constituency data are predominantly from the “Regional Database Deutschland”, a joint publication of the Federal Statistical Office and the statistical offices of the Länder.

The raw data on employees subject to social insurance contributions, recipients of unemployment benefit and of social allowance and unemployment rates were made available to us by the Federal Employment Agency (© Bundesagentur für Arbeit).

The information on the population by religious affiliation and the ownership rate on dwellings in residental buildings comes from the census database of the 2011 Census and was made available to us as a special evaluation according to the Bundestag elections 2017.
